The aim is to train translators who can carry out Russian-Turkish translation and interpretation at various events, and projects concerned with political, economic, and cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Russia and foreign countries. Also, the program is aimed at training translators and interpreters, who have qualitative knowledge in the field of Linguistics and Translation Studies, and thus, offer professional translation services from Russian to Turkish and vice versa at international congresses, symposiums, seminars, conferences, etc.
Within the framework of the four-year bachelor's degree translation program, the first two years of the study are mainly oriented to theoretical and practical classes in Russian and Turkish, and the 3-4th years – to practical classes aimed directly at translation and interpretation specialization.
The program courses in Turkish and Russian are not limited only to enriching the vocabulary of students, but also it is aimed at developing the skills of conducting scientific research in these languages.
Along with the emphasis on interpretation and translation, practical classes on simultaneous translation are conducted at translation classes, as well as various methods of interpretation and simultaneous translation. In translation classes, as a rule, the student's translation skills are developed based on semantic and communicative methods by performing translation through a critical analysis of the translation on high quality.
