KYRGYZ-TURKISH PROGRAM
The aim is to train translators who can carry out Turkish-Kyrgyz translation and interpretation at various events, and projects concerned with political, economic, and cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Also, the program is aimed at training translators and interpreters, who have qualitative knowledge in the field of Linguistics and Translation Studies, and thus, offer professional translation services from Kyrgyz to Turkish and vice versa at international congresses, symposiums, seminars, conferences, etc.
Within the framework of the four-year bachelor's degree translation program, the first two years of the study are mainly oriented to theoretical and practical classes in Kyrgyz and Turkish, and the 3-4th years – to practical classes aimed directly at translation and interpretation specialization.
The program courses in Kyrgyz-Turkish Program are not limited only to enriching the vocabulary of students, but also it is aimed at developing the skills of conducting scientific research in these languages.
Along with the emphasis on interpretation and translation, practical classes on simultaneous translation are conducted at translation classes, as well as various methods of interpretation and simultaneous translation. In translation classes, as a rule, the student's translation skills are developed based on semantic and communicative methods by performing translation through a critical analysis of the translation on high quality.

Graduates of this program can find jobs in public and private institutions, educational centers, secondary and higher educational institutions, embassies, international organizations, Kyrgyz and Turkish language training centers, translation agencies, libraries, publishing houses, travel agencies in Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and in all countries of the world where Turkish is used.
